TCC lockup question - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

Hey.....switched from 86MAF and now have SD. As you know the speedo is cable driven and I do not have a VSS so even when my car is moving it registers at 0 mph in the ecm, and the converter never locks up. In Tunercats there is a place to lock up the converter at a certain rpm instead of mph, but I could not find the place to set the rpm for it to lock. How can I get it to lock up?

First-Forget about the RPM thing.

Second- You do have a VSS, it is in the instrament cluster.

Third- Did you follow Mike Davis's tech page when you swapped to speed density? If you did you would have seen that the prom must be modified for VSS to work. The "mag speed sensor installed" switch will have to be un-checked.
