I am sure there is someone out there with a 94-95 Corvette that can help me.
Our 95 Cavalier has a 16 pin plug but is not OBD2. I read this is the case with the 94-95 Corvetts as well. How do you read the codes?
hmm 0thats a bit odd. i think you could try looking for a pin with roughly 5v. it seems that most wake up lines are 5v brought to ground on gm obd1 cars. im not sure you wont fry anything trying it so be careful. ill poke my nose into our snap on scanner book ands see what the wake up ses code flash or feild service mode procedure is.
if the above schematic is correct take pim5 of the obd2 connector and ground it. this will set feild service mode. i couldnt find anything in the snap on users manual sorry. as stated above if im wrong about pin5 to ground your sol.

For the older rectangular 12-pin style, the under dash connector has the following pinout:
F E D C B A
G H J K L M
A = Ground
B = Mode Select
M = Serial Data
(on some older cars E = Serial Data
For the OBDII style connector (16-pin D shaped), it has the following pinout:
01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08
09 10 11 12 13 14 15 16
05 = Ground
06 = Mode Select
09 = Serial Data

Thanx! you are Da Man! My van uses the E version, this is why the Auto Xray made no sense to me! So I should be able to flash 5-6 and get the ses lamp to work... I will have to re-wire my cable next.

Opon further review, I see no connector in pin six slot....
We got brave and tried to jump 4&5 thinking just typo last night.
That did not do anything at all that we could see. I will have to look for the 5 volt wire next.
