I have a lean bog also, especially off the line.

In GMECM Edit I have beefed up the AE vs LV8 a bit. I am running off the arap bin with stock timing tables, HSR, all that good stuff and 24lb injectors.

So far I've made the bogg pretty much go away, but I still have a POP now and then right as I tip the gas. I was looking for a AE vs TPS but there isn't in the ecu/bin I'm using.

AE vs LV8 is like a carb's Pump Shot so I've been told.

Stealth ram likes lots of gas, LOTS everytime I give it more gas, it goes faster. But I'm still real lean at Idle too.

It can take a ton of fuel to get the AE right on some combos.

AND, if you miss on ramping out the timing it will act like the AE fuel is off.

This is the main timing table off my car, which is a very low timing configuration, but might serve to show you what I mean about ramping out the timing. Multiply by .35 to see the timing in degrees.

FWIW, this is turbo motor.

I am running on a MAF setup so I don't quite follow the MAP portion: would that follow the Spark RPM vs Load(LV8) for me?

Is it more important to ramp the spark via load, or via rpm? or kind of make it plan out peak at low load high rpm?

Sorry for all the questions, but with the stealthram's capabilties of making power in the high rpm, is there a time when I should start taking timing out? My cam only goes to 5500.. but I notice that stock chips kind of cut out everything at 5kish area....

thanks!

VE or LV8 are interchangeable.
They both represent the amount of load the engine is seeing.

Timing is a matter of what makes a particular engine happy. Two almost identical engines, can have vast differences in the actual table, it's seeing the trend of what the engine wants that's key.

In oem form they have to worry about killing the converter so they turn off the HP at high RPM/high load.
