ARAP or APYP can't replace AFKN?

Mods I hope this is in the right forum.
I got 2 chips burned for me by a member. He tried them in his car and apparently worked fine. Simple APYP with inj. const. change, and ARAP with the same change, along with some timing changes for Iron heads. When installed on my chip socket on my memcal, I get spark but no inj pw while cranking and it won't start of course. Put the stock chip in & it runs no prob, so it's not my connections. Will ARAP or APYP not work for me (AFKN)? Car in sig.
Thanks.

I'd say no, something to do with VATS.

Don't count on anything other then what you do.

Would you take some pills you saw laying in the street?.
And if you say it's not the same thing, then just remember why you just posted.
Now, the guestion is what else might be wrong with it?.

It cranks and cranks but doesn't start. Doesn't vats disable the starter relay? Just curious...

Well if his car was say- an '86, then wouldn't vats HAVE to be disabled for it to work in his car?
Hmmmm...

The VATS chip disables your fuel injectors, if the guy did not turn off the vats switch on the chip that would explain your problem

Thats strange, in the Vettes VATS won't even engage the starter relay.
