aldl cable question

Ok I'm not an electronics expert so I got a quick question. I'm making my aldl interface cable soon from the winaldl site. My question is, what gauge wires are ok to use to make this.

Yes, anything is OK. You could probably use like 28 gauge. Whatever you need for physical strength...

ok thanks everyone. Wasn't sure if the thinner gauge was ok. You know how fussy electronics are.
