You run a FMU if you have a supercharger to increase the amount of fuel during boost. This is a bandade, the more correct way is to run an ECU designed for boost.
The 4 letter BCC code is directly on the chip itself. Yes, you have to remove the cover to get to the chip. Look under the blue cover and you will see a silver sticker directly on the chip with the BCC code.
