Lt1 Ecm 16159278

I've been buring chips for my 730 ECM using an Autoprom. Friend of mine bought a early 90's LT1 with the PROM(not the flash type) ECM. He asked me if I could do anything with that.

Is there somewhere I can find a BINs, ADS files, etc. that would work with this ECM?

Just looking for someone to point me in the right direction....

I can send you a stock lt1 bin. Is it auto or manual? From what I understand, there is no place/msg board for 93 lt1 tuners. Tunercat has the DA3 TDF for the 93 puter. Datamaster has the DA version for scanning. It uses 27c256 chips. What else do you want to know?

It's an Auto...

He's going to use a Turbo 350, which I tried to tell him defeated half the purpose....oh well...

Not sure that it matters what BIN to use if he's got a Turbo 350.

He' s putting the LT1 in a 50's Ford Woody. If you could send me that bin, I could try and take a look at it using the Autoprom.

If I can look at it using my Autoprom, I might be able to ask more definitive questions. I'm gathering(hoping) that it will be similar to the 730 PROM bins.
Thanks for the help.

I don't think you can view it with the autoprom. Contact Craig Moates to be sure. I think a th-350 would be fine. Find out if you can even read the file before I send you it....

That ECM won't do transmission control, except for TCC.
The '92-'93 LT1's still used the 4L60 (i.e. 700R4), not the 4L60E.

Can't read it with Autoprom?

Bummer. I was hoping I could. Oh well, I'll just tell him I can't read it...
