The 'chip' is actually the constants portion along with some of the code of the calibration, or basically the program that runs on the computer. Each table or constant that you see is at a specific address in the bin. The definition file has the addresses as well as the conversions needed to make the raw data actually appear as something you can understand. If your using the wrong definition, all the data you see in the tables is basically garbage since its just a bunch of unrelated stuff read off of the bin. You need the ecu for the 7747/$42 ecm. |
