WinALDL datalogging problems with USB AutoProm

I have used my new autoprom on my 91 Z28, using TunerPro RT with no problems. Today I tried to scan my brothers vehicle with WinALDL and no luck. I tried the switches in every position with no luck. It has an 062 ECM which is supported by WinALDL. I will get raw data but nothing else. Also the box at the top flashes numbers the highest I noticed was 5, it also has a grey and red flashing background in this box along with the numbers. I don't have any WinALDL experience, as I normally tune with TunerPro or Datamaster. I would apreciate any help.

Try this:

- Horizontal switch out, vertical switch up, key off, everything connected.
- Startup WinALDL, set the WinALDL baud rate to 4800. Set COM port to the right one for the AutoProm.
- Turn key on. See if you get the green blinky in WinALDL. If so, all's well.

Hope this helps!

I figured it out, I needed to change the baud rate from 2400 to 4800.
