I'd say you have a 730 ECM using an $8D mask.

You can do exactly like I did: Click here to see. Good luck, Ed.

Sorry, I missed that you said "TBI". Someone else will have to advise you on mask, but the same equipment should work and you can still use TunerPro RT and download the appropriate ECU file for whatever mask you have. Ed

I'd recommend using the Prominator, it really saves a bunch of headaches and is very easy to use.

The '92 with a TBI has the 1228746 ECM ('8746 or '746 for short). Usually the best bet for these is to get one of Moates switchers and run a 29C256 Flash EPROM. Off hand I don't know the part number or such for the switcher. Check moates.net for info.

Don't worry about having that particular ECM. There is a hac available along with a couple of nice patches for it.

RBob.

Cheapest route is the Burn1 with the flash adaptor (RBob, it's no longer a switcher). It takes some soldering time but it's the cheapest way to burn chips for the c3 type ecm's. The Prominator is a GREAT alternative that costs like $50-80 more than that first option but it's a lot easier to work with! My vote is for the Prominator to anybody that wants to focus on their car only. Having the Burn1 is nice if you're going to help out or share some of the equipment with a buddy.
