After an hour of searching I will give up and ask. I have a 383 running 6e and the MAF is reading 13-14 grams per second at idle. Stock calibration calls for 4-8 grams per second at idle. Is mine reading more because of the bigger engine or do I have a problem here and they should be reading 4-8?
I got a little off track when searching and saw a post regarding MAF scalars. Everything I read said the last cell in table one should match the first in table two. I am using Tuner Pro 4.0 and in Table 1 last entry is 22.36 and in Table 2 first entry is 21.38. Should I change them to match?
4 is very low, 8 is more typical, but I dont see anything too terribly wrong with around 13 g/s, especially if the motor is set up to have a fast idle. How does the exhaust smell?
dimented24x7 - The exhaust smells rich at idle. I am commanding idle at 750 rpm so maybe that is the reason for the added air flow. I will set the table back to stock and see if the grams/sec comes down. It makes since. Thanks
88305tpiT/A - I will change them, I apprecaite it. Have any idea why they did not match in the first place? Confusing...
I am using xdf off of TunerPro's website. I downloaded it around 3 to 4 weeks ago when I went to 4.0. I originally read the stock chip with TunerPro 3.10 and the ecu file off the website as well. Why, are there some know problems that have been fixed?
