160 baud ALDL data with TunerPro RT help please

Hi. I've got a Moates Ostrich emulator that I'm using with TunerPro RT. I have a 7170 ECM which is a 160 baud ALDL system and have the correct XDF, BIN and ADS files for TunerPro RT. I happily paid my $30 for TunerPro RT and think the program is pretty good, but I'm having a couple issues I need help with.

I've previously used WinALDL to datalog, but the INT, BLM and O2 tables remained blank. Even though my engine is definitely running rich, and the INT values "cycle" indicating this, the BLM's seem fixed at 128. That's why I switched to TunerPro. But TunerPro also seems to have problems with INT and BLM data.

The ALDL sensor data shows MAP data as volts. I want to change that to kPa. I can see in the ALDL def editor where I'd need to make that change in Factor, but can't find any information on what formula should go in there. I'd also like to change the TPS data to reflect % rather than volts. Can anyone help me out?

I also have a problem with datalogging with TunerPro RT. All the steps work properly (name the file, start, stop, save etc.), but when I review the "saved" datalog all I have is header information, but no data at all.

I've contacted Mangus, but he hasn't had a chance to look at it yet and I need this right away. Anyone here have any ideas?

Thanks in advance...

Tony -

What ADS file are you using for the 7130? I don't recognize the ECM.

Regarding converting voltage to kPa, somewhere on these boards is a chart for doing this from which you can extract the proper equation. A search on map voltage conversion kpa might net the information.

Regarding the datalogging problem with 160 baud - this is an issue with TunerPro. I'll try to set aside some time to fix it soon.

The 1227170 is the 86-88 Fiero ECM and uses the $24.XDF
The ADS file is DATA STREAM A29 - 2.8L PFI (L44) (VIN=9) 85, 86, 87, 88

I though perhaps I was doing something wrong at my end. Thanks for the response.

I've already alerted Magus myself that the 160 baud is still having problems datalogging... he's a busy guy, and we're all VERY grateful for his hard work, so let's give him plenty of time.

If your problem is like mine, I think you'll find the ALDL dash/monitors/etc all work fine

A search yielded thse formulae. I'm posting it for the benefit of others needing this information.

1-Bar MAP -> kPa = ADC * 0.369 + 10.415

2-Bar MAP -> kPa = n * 0.78431 + 8
