Still have a VSS problem

16197427 ecm to run 80e tranny.

I can see everything now, including engine rpm, turbine shaft rpm, temp, force motor psi, etc.

I can't see VSS though on bit 27 of ads stream. Got it narrowed down to I think the f12 wire. As nothing changes if it is hooked or not, and I can get it to flicker when touching wire to VSS signals, while engine running.

I do see data on bit 60 of ads stream though, showing VSS coming in on F13.

Looking at line pressure I can tell ecm still thinks truck isn't moving though.

So I am 99% sure is f12 wire (red in PDF file). I have hooked it up to almost every pin of the DRAC module now with no luck.

If i unhook the f13 wire I lose the 60 ads info.

Am I still missing something?
Why would ecm see it on one bit but not the other?

www.nwstp.com/4l80e/vss.pdf (diagram showing wires)
www.nwstp.com/4l80e/vss.txt (hack of bin I am using)

Tonight I may try wiring directly to Trans output speed sensor instead and see what happens.

Any helps, things to look at would be great. Hopeful the diagrams may be useful to someone else also.

I also have a tunerpro log and datastream def. if someone wanted to see how 60 gets info and 27 bit doesn't.

Just to help clarify what Ty1295 is trying to accomplish, here is some more info and the problem. Right now he cannot get the transmission to shift.

He is putting in a 4L80e into a Syclone and trying to Piggy back the 4l80e 16197427 ECM off the 749 Syclone ECM to control the transmission. We are using code $0E from the
BJKZ.BIN found in the $0E.zip at

http://www.fortunecity.com/rivendell.../ECMDetail.htm

We have an XDF and ADS file for Tunerpro working. He is getting data off of all the sensor except the Filtered MPH ALDL value. From the diagrams, pin f12 looks like it is used to control shifting. The value for Filtered MPH is always 0. It looks like Ty1295 is using the VSS output off the Syty Drac into Pin F12 on the 4L80e ECM. The Syty ECM shows MPH but the on the 4L80e ecm it is always 0 MPH. Any ideas of where we should get the VSS signal for f12?

Also just to verify, what sensor does the 16197427 ECM need connected for it to control the trans. Right now I see in his file that there is an EST error and of course there would be cause this isn't hooked up. Would that cause it not to shift? I looked throught the Hac of the Code in the $0E.zip but didn't see anything in there that would tell me if there was an EST error that it would cause it not to shift. I am still learning how to read assembly code so I could have missed it.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.....

Just to update everybody on the solution.

Not all DRAC's or Vehicle speed buffers are not the same.

Turned out the one I had didn't output data on the pin needed. Swapped to a different drac, issue solved.
