Disable EGR in $6E

So my friend's trying to disable his EGR (Vortec heads) but is getting a code on cold restarts where it'll bog down to like 500rpm then instantly set the code 32 and recover to 750. After 20 seconds or so the code goes away.
Could somebody send over a bin that has egr disabled so I can compare what he's done to what should be done. I haven't had this issue but I've never had to help somebody disable EGR with the $6E .
From stock relating to EGR; We've moved the "Disable EGR if MAT< x" to 300+ degrees F ($FD). Then "EGR enable if TPS..." both set to really high 99% TPS ($FF). I think one of these needs to be low and isn't there a flag that'll disable EGR? Other than that we've turned the EGR DC vs Lv8 vs RPM all to 0 in hopes that would solve it... nope.

Not sure if this helps at all but this is a copy of what TRAX did to disable EGR in a 730. I have never played with the 6E so I am not sure if it has the same tables or similar ones.

But anyway this is what he did to get rid of EGR

EGR DISABLED...
Min MAT for EGR enable increased to 255 counts from 30 counts.
EGR % TPS Enable Threshold decreased to 0% from 2.3%
EGR % TPS Disable Threshold decreased to 0% from 2%.
EGR Diagnostic Disabled.
EGR Diagnostic minimum Vehicle Speed increased to 255mph from 30mph.
EGR % Duty Cycle vs. Vacuum vs. MAP table decreased to 0% across the board.
EGR Duty Cycle Multiplier vs. Coolant temp decreased to 0 across the board.

730 is easy to can the egr when running the $8D code.

Temp enable term for the mat enable for the egr to 254 and your all done.

Sounds to me like the $6E stuff is like the T31 code on the 148, at least where the egr is concerned.

I found every multiplier and table adder and table for egr and tried all manner of cutting it off like u jon and found it still working, or at least begin commanded when i wanted a total shutoff.

later

I disabled it in my bin by setting Disable EGR if MAT < X to the highest value.

Alternatives (if, say, you're using the MAT i/o for something else):
-- Zero out the EGR Duty Cycle vs. LV8 and RPM table
-- EGR Enable if TPS > X and EGR DC != 0 - Set to highest TPS value
-- Same with EGR Enable if TPS > X and EGR DC == 0

Shouldn't be throwing codes.
