can a lt1 type computer run a 7 pin distributor?

I got a killer deal on a lt1 intake fuel rails injectors tb wiring and computer. Was wondering if I did the lt1 intake conversion it the lt1 computerwould be able to run the late distributor. Or could I work around this with like a aftermarket CD system?

One possible way to do it would be to mount the optical wheel and sensor from an optispark in your distributor housing... the LT1 computer uses this input for injector timing as well. I don't know if it could be made to work with your existing magnetic pickup or not.
