Our advice was NOT to order a mail order chip, we could have told you that it was junk. See if you can get your money back and use it to buy a burner.

Your having the classic rich at idle lean everywhere else syndrome that cams cause. The problem is your chip is no longer tuned for motor....end of story. The only way to get it to run right is to DIY tune your chip till it matches your motor again. It'll take 100 or so chips but at 10 or 15 at a sitting it won't take that long. You'll have it drivable in a week or so. Then again if you do the mail order route you have to add in about 5 or 6 days between each chip and that could take a while.

the base pulse constant is set by you in the chip. injector size/engine size/ fuel pressure is all part of calc. if you change FP say from 12 to 15 lbs you flow about 11.5% more fuel. so it will need to be changed accordingly. if the burner has it set at 12 lbs(probable) and you changed FP to say 16 the tune is way off. that explains rich at idle. OBTW. after the mods phase 1 i ran car on stock chip at 13 lbs. got lean CE light. that scared me into parking car till the 7747 was in car and i was tuning. fast learning curve.

Hey guys, i know its been a long tile since my last post.

I literally recieved my second chip, fired it up and datalogged, then drove 1200 miles thru mexico. I have been down here everysince and have about 3200 miles now. the only problem has been the brown tranny fluid. i did rebuild the tranny and everyone here says it is the clutches. tommorrow i'm having the fluid changed. hopefullyno more problems after that.

Thank you for all the replies and helpful knowledge. as soon as i get some high speed internet i will pass on my new knowledge and understanding of computers

Thanks
