deffinitons...sticky??

okay i tried to come up w/ a idea for deffining all the flags, tables, constants etc. to make a sticky about a week ago. but the more reading i do the more i realize how in depth some of it would have to go which would take much time and space, and even some gurus have trouble getting some parts. so i decided to go this route instead these are deffinitions for abb. i have run across while studing articles and stickies trying to learn how to tune (since im a total newb) feel free to add more or deffine the few i left blank and i will edit this regularly. thanks
John

SA = spark advance

atdc = after top dead center
aldl = assembly line diagnostic link
IAT = intake air temp.
IAC = idle air control
TPS = throttle position sensor
BLM = block learn multiplier (long term fuel trim)
tsa = total spark advance
K/S = knock sensor
DFCO = deceleration fuel cut off
C/L or CL = closed loop
O/L or OL = open loop
Egr = exaust gas recirculation
TCC = torque convertor clutch
AE = acceleration enrichment
VE = volumetric efficency
Kpa = kilo-pascals (metric measure of pressure for map)
DE = deceleration enleanment
AFR = air to fuel ratio
PCV = possitive crankcase ventilation
Baro = biometric pressure
CCP = charcoal canister purge
INT = integrator (short term fuel trim)
bpw = base pulse width
bpc = base pulse constant
msec = milli second .001 seconds
usec = micro second .000001 seconds
nsec = nano second .000000001 seconds

s/d map = speed density map?
VATS = vehicle anti-theft system
mvdc = milli volts dc
TF = throttle follower
~T = inverse temperature?
~AFR = inverse afr?
CLT = closed loop correction term

since im a newb somthing like this is probably the biggest contribution i can make right to the prom board but its worth it cause im sure it may help at least one person.

Anybody know what 'hyst' stands for? I've seen it around quite a bit but have never seen a definition...

I know it's a bit off topic, but I have a favorite:

TLA = three-letter acronym

Re: definitons...sticky??

you guys left out a couple that we all use at some point in learning how to tune:

SNAFU- Situation Normal All Fouled Up
FUBAR- Fouled up Beyond All Repair

maybe "fouled" isnt quite strong enough...
