ALDL hookup having issues

Here's what I've got:

Moates ALDL cable1
Moates ALDU1 USB to ALDL cable with switch

Using WinALDL and the 1227165 ECM type (1987 GTA here), I get readings in the RAW data table, but that is all. Switching the baud rate changes these readings (and changes the flashing number to just 5), but no other tables are active.

Using TunerPro RT (what I'd like to use), I can get the software to say that it is connected - but it does not display any data. I am using the 1227165 - 160 Baud Datastream Def provided.

As far as I know, the 10k switch is for 8192 baud - which mine is 160 baud. I'm going to go try experimenting flipping the switch on this converter some more...but half an hour of tinkering has yielded nothing useful. Surely I'm missing something stupid!

Let me know what stupidity is occuring here and I'll give you a virtual cookie.

Well I tried the $6E mask (even though my car should have the $32B mask) - and it connected. Woohoo. Isn't $32B 160 baud?

Now to figure out why TunerPro throws a fatal exception when I try to play back datalogging Found out why...corrupt data log. Don't let your laptop go to suspend while logging
