How to save xdf files from Moates site?

Sorry everyone, I have to be a dumb a$$. For some reason I must be saving the xdf files wrong from Craigs site. Each time I try, Tuner pro tells me invalid xdf file. The way I have been trying is selecting the appropriate file, then it opens like a text file, then from the top left, I select "save as" ***, type .html or .txt and then I put them in the bin definitions folder. I open TP and try to use those XDF files & I can't, seems the only one that works is the 6E it came with, but I need $58. I know I'm an idiot and there has to be a simple solution. I found a 2 & 3 bar map.zip folder & downloaded, it works in TP just fine. So I must be opening & saving the files incorrectly from Moates's site.

You are opening it and then trying to save it in another format.
you should-
Right click the file on the site
and choose "save link as"
