Best book or place to get data for learning to tune etc

I will be without a computer with internet for about 6 weeks, and want to start learning all the things needed to learn to tune. I have a Burn1, TTS software and will get Tuner Cat for my 1993 LT1 Vette. But while I am without a internet connection to learn etc, where can I get a good book, or a bunch of data I can load now to go from baby steps to understanding how things work. I am mechanically savvy, and electronic savvy, but tuning is Greek to me, other than fan temps So, and advice or data that can really help me understand all this stuff would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
