Ease and Datamaster, good?, Link?

Anyone used these two programs? Which one is better? Will they work with multiple vehicles and include cables? How does it compare to Diacom? I like the fact that Ease and Datamaster are Windows based vs DOS based Diacom. Where is a WEBSITE or PHONE # to get in touch with them? What do you guys prefer?

I also use a scan tool from Ease, the personal Plus version. Good graphing capability, unlimited recording, all windows features. I can scan up to 20 different vehicles, as many times as I want. All cables come with the tool, as long as you specify OBDI or II. I do have trouble connecting up with my car sometimes. Some days it links up quickly, other days takes a few minutes. The support people say that this problem is unique to my car, so I just live with it.

I started out on Diacom, sold it when I heard about the Ease tool. I don't have any comment on Datamaster.

Is the only difference between the professional and personal versions of Ease just that the personal can only hold 20 cars? Why is that minor difference worth $300? Or is there something I missed?

I think there are security issues as well with the professional version. Like you may have to register the software with Ease, as if you were in business. It may have more record time, as well as more than 20 vehicles to scan. You could email them and get more direct answers.

Interresting.

I also use the EASE software and so far it looks very nice. Also, it is nice to see someone doing pretty much the same buildup as I, a 327 tpi. I will submit my experiences when I get there.

thanks.
