I just got my apu1 and got it up and runing with tuner rt pro I can read and right chips and use the emulator but when i try to use the aldl to see what the car is doing it will sort of work but my temp was reading 24F and then was 284F and the it just kind of freezed(not comp or program just stoped updating readings)where it was at and stoped reading just left the numbers it was reading up.

anyone got any ideas?

Towards the top of the screen in TunerPro, there is an icon of a hand holding a card, or something like that. Click that and on the screen that opens select "browse" and make sure you have selected the correct .ADS file for your application. Also make sure its the most current version. Thats the first thing that came to mind when I read your problem, hope it helps.

ECM? Code mask? What mode are you using the AutoProm in for logging? Max232 (w/ passthrough) or AutoProm (in non-passthrough)?

my snapon scanner can read everything and tell me what its doing and emulation works i can make changes and load them to the comp and it makes a diff. like i was playing with idle to make sure it was working.
