Car: '84 Chevy 1500 Engine: 350 Transmission: TH350 | Can't datalog worth beans
I'm running a 165 6E setup swapping back and forth between ARAP and AUJM chips trying to tune one to my liking. ARAP is almost there as far as I can tell but my datalogging is really sketchy.
I usually log in winaldl with my homemade two transistor cable. The sample rate at idle seems to be every second and the little box at the top of the winaldl window flashes a green 25. As soon as it's not idling anymore I get red boxes flashing with different numbers in them and the sample rate is about every 10 seconds, so it's kind of hit and miss and very frustrating.
Then I read that winaldl is only for the older 160 baud ECM's, which mine is no more since I'm now using 6E is this correct?
So I tried to hook up to GMECM or TunerPro RT to do some datalogging and still no luck. Does my two transistor cable not support the higher baud rate? I'm pulling my teeth out here trying to get a decent datalog.
If I can't use winaldl anymore because of the higher baud rate, what else will log like it does? I really like the way winaldl saves the tables. It makes it very easy to see where adjustments have to be made. Does GMECM do that? As far as I've seen, TunerPro RT doesn't.
