I just recently bought an autoprom usb kit so i can burn my own chips but i opened my computer and i have no BCC sticker or anything, i have downloaded the .bin file from my stock chip and verified it in tunerprort and it succeeded. my truck is a 94 4x4 auto with a 350TBI the 2732/2732a/27c32 24-pin chip in it but cannot figure out which stock def to use, the only #'s i found were the ones on the stock chip which were

AC9134B
and stamped on the back of the front cover when i removed it was 16029027,
i dunno am i going to have to start with another stock bin say, one from the internet and if so which do you guys think would be a good guess to start with?
also 1 more thing my vin starts with RBT meaning it was rebuilt a long time ago after somone in toronto punked the motor and tranny out of it so it may not even be a 94 it may be a 93

well i've been trying to think of a way to get the BCC code off of my ecm seeing as the paper tag has worn off of the cover, would the CALdata (thank jeebus for the search function) proggy be a good investment you think? and i'm assuming that the autoprom for craig would work with it? otherwise i have no idea what to do to get my BCC off of my chip to get the proper def to start out with
as far as which bin file you need, sorry i can't help you there.
but if you get the right bin & ALDL files, you should be fine with the bin from your chip.
i have never used CALdata, so i know nothing about it.
Try this: open the BIN in a hex editor (there is one in TunerPro), then look at address 4, what is the value in hex? It very well may be the MaskID, which is all we need. For example, a $42 will be a '7747 ECM, a $61 will be a '8746 ECM, etc.
If you are not sure how to read the hex, grab a screen shot (ALT-PrintScreen) of the hex editor and post that. Don't scroll the hex editor screen at all, it will open to the beginning of the file, which is what we'll need to see.
ok i gave it another try he's exactly what i did in tunerproRT tool-->moates Prom I/O------>select 2732a in my supported chips------>read chip progress bar fills up in status i get

Something isn't right. If your truck is truly a '94 4x4 350 TBI auto, then it cannot have a 24 pin 2732 EPROM in it. Starting in '93, the auto TBI trucks came with a Memcal in a PCM with a 27C512 EPROM. I suspect the truck is a 92 since in byte 4 you show $99. This would be your mask ID which is correct for a '92 TBI auto truck running a 16146299 ECM. There is an .ecu definition file on Moates file manager but it does'nt look very complete. HTH

That's the BIN. One why to tell is there is a 3D table at the beginning. Most likely spark, which is common for these mask's. Here is the info (from Ludis) on maskid $99:
sweet i knew it wasn't really a 94 thats when i'm supposing it got it's new serial # from the licence office anyhoo i dl'ed the $99 xdf and ecu file from moates, gonna try and mess with it tonight, is it true i can switch to a 7747? as long as it's one for a 350 v8 truck with a 700R4? just say go to a junk yard and look through the various computers for the BCC in the trucks with the same configuration as mine?
Most likely can change to a '7747. The code is different but the hardware is the same. Even though 99% of the pins will be the same between them, some can change. These woul dbe the pins such as used for CCP, A/C, EGR, and AIR. These are quad driver outputs that can change via different code.
