power loss?

i have a basicly stock 350, 700r4 auto transmission on a 1991 camaro. When i had the 87 harness in the camaro i could burnout like no tomorrow from first through second and when not burning out and i hammerd on it and it would shift from first to second it would spin the tires also. now with the 91 SD harness it no longer burns out and rarely chirps the tires when shifting into second. Attached is the Data file from datamaster 8Dv351 of my car, im just now learning and reading about tuning and have all the tools to do it. Any sugestions??

so far i have been talking to lou who has been a great help, he said to post up here and see what others think..
he said this..
Looking at the data, it looks like your spark retard is kicking in for some reason. But the knock count does not go up, that's strange. I compared it with my acceleration data and mine shows spark advance of up to 40 degrees while you're staying at 20 degrees which would definitely account for some loss of power.

uploaded my uni file inside the zip folder
anything will help!! thanks in advance

Re: power loss?

You'll need to clarify what hardware you have.
ECM # ?
Memcal/BCC #? AUJP or what ?

How did you have an 87' harness in a 91 Camaro?
Background story... Could have alot to do with current events.

There's no files there so I can't see it either.

Re: power loss?

i had a 91 v6 3.1 cyl and bought an 87 350 with the wiring harness + cpu.. and cut up the 87 harness to match 91 pins etc and make it work.. did not touch the interior 91 side of the harness, picked up a 91 350 harness + ecm and put it into the car, no i have not yet changed the knock sensor yet will be doing that this weekend most likly. but it is a 91 ecm and 91 chip. as far as the #'s etc ill get them either tonight or tomorrow for you

Re: power loss?

thats your problem right there, you didnt change the knock sensor, the ecm is probably retarding your timing, the maf and sd knock sensors are different
