16197427 mask questions

I was wondering what mask would be better for me to run.

I am putting a 350, 16197427 ECM ($31 Mask) and harness from a 1995 C3500 into a Jeep Wrangler.

I am wanting to run a 700R4 (donor truck ran a 4L80E).

Any ideas what mask would be the best to use? $31, $OD, etc

Thanks,

Brian

$0D is the better mask for what you are planning to do. It is meant to be used in a ligher truck, so the tuning is more aggressive. The $0D code is more documented as well.

Re: 16197427 mask questions

$0d is well documented and is for a 4l60e (700 with electronic shifting)

$31 and $OE are for 4l80e

Not sure why you wouldn't want an E trans since you already have the wiring. Actually a 4l80e is a great trans. I personally hate 700's with a passion anymore, but that is a differnt thread and topic.

$OD is probably what you want to use.
