I disagree (unless my Chilton's Manual is completely wrong). I was double checking your repin list with my chilton's manual and it seems you are missing the distributor rewiring:
D9-->B3
D8-->B5 (this is probably what you meant by: D8-->B5)
C8-->D4 (this is probably what you meant by: B4-->D4)
C7-->D5
The IAC wiring (C5 and C6) shouldn't matter either way.
I probably wont bother switching the injector banks (D15<-->D16) or splicing in the extraneous C15 and D14 wires.
what are these doing?
D2-->C1
D8-->C15
D13-->D2
I'm not trying to be a jerk, I was just getting ready to repin my harness and wanted to double check for typos to avoid costly mistakes.
This will be the last bin I'm releasing since my hybrid build is almoast complete. This is similar to what I've been using in my own car for a while and shares very little with the previous bins. Same location as before, name is '2.8 v6 \165ecm (L)'.
Knock sensor needed, compatible with stock o2 sensor but should run close to 14.5/1 afr in closed loop. I've programmed a few little 'tricks' into it that should make that transition when you stomp the gas a little more fun. Enjoy.
Still working on it. Having trouble finding an ECM. Found a better list of cars to go by, so I'll hit up Pick-a-Part again this week.
Need to find another laptop too. Mine died a few months ago, there are no decent cheap used laptops I can find locally, and I'm being cheap and keep talking myself out of buying a new one for $400.
Here's what I'll be looking for on my next trip. Hopefully I can find at least one of these that hasn't already had it's ecm stripped out.
1987-90 Astro/Safari Van with 2.5L 4 cylinder
1987-88 Blazer S10/Jimmy S15 with 2.5L 4 cylinder
1991 BlazerS10/Jimmy S15 with 4.3L 6 cylinder (with 1227165 ECM)
1991 Bravada (with 1227165 ECM)
1987 Camaro/Firebird with 5.7L 8 cylinder
1988 Camaro/Firebird with 5.0L 8 cylinder with MFI
1988 Camaro/Firebird with 5.7L 8 cylinder
1986-87 Camaro/Firebird with 5.0L 8 cylinder with EFI
1989 Camaro/Firebird with 5.0L 8 cylinder with MFI
1986 Cavalier/Cimarron with 2.0L 4 cylinder and manual trans
1989 Camaro/Firebird with 5.7L 8 cylinder
1986 Firenza/Skyhawk/Sunbird with 2.0L 4 cylinder and manual trans
1986-89 Corvette
1987-91 S10/S15/Sonoma with 2.5L 4 cylinder
1991 S10/S15/Sonoma with 4.3L 6 cylinder (with 1227165 ECM)
(on a good note, I think I fixed it's random shutdown problem. I guess it was the coil)
*edit* Nevermind. It ran fine a few weeks ago, but tonight I decided to air it out and drive into town, but it died half a mile down the road. Wouldn't start at all. Had my dad tow me home.

There's the list I was looking for, where'd you find that? Concentrate on 4-cyl blazers/s10's and 2.5L vans, they're most common. Never found one in a 4.3 blazer either.
I can't remember now just what I typed into google (or maybe it was dogpile), but I think the list was actually here on thirdgen somewhere. I updated my printed list with engine vin codes too, as I was coming across vehicles with no engines, and didn't want to waste time pulling ecms at random.
I thought I was close today when I found a 91 blazer with the 4.3. I pulled the ECM down out of the dash (drumroll and suspense building), and it wasn't the right one.
There's one on ebay for about $50+$10shipping. I might bid on it in the next few days if my search comes up empty again tomorrow. ($30 at the junkyard)
Drove the firebird back through the woods a few days ago after changing the control module, and ran up and down the road today with no problems. I have a faint glimmer of hope that the icm was indeed the problem.
Now I just need to pull the valve covers (the rattle), get a different exhaust (headers with 2.5 highflow cat, 2.5 I-pipe, and 2.5 dynomax muffler are just too loud and raspy), and have the entire interior cleaned. It smells musty after sitting most of the winter.
I need to find someone around my area that has experience doing this type of tuning also, because I've never done this before. I should buy what I need and try it on my truck a little bit (96 chevy). It needs some extra gas mileage too.
Another oversight on my part I need to clear up on the repin. When splicing the injector wires together make sure you splice wires C15 to D16 and D14 to D15 on the v6 harness, or simply disconnect C15 and D14 outright. I chose to splice them together for a little redundancy, but disconnecting them isn't a problem. You should end up with a blue and green wire spliced together on each of the injector pins.
