The canister gets full of fuel after a warm shut down, then, when it first opens, a lot of fuel comes out and the canister purges until it's near empty.
Not saying it's your problem, but it'd be my first guess. Purge can contain enough fuel concentration to turn off the injectors and still run in a severe case (and small engine), which is why it's on a ported source (to avoid that). |
