EBL wont activate EGR - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

EGR mph is 0/0. min coolant is about 50, tested valve by pushing up on diaphragm and killing engine, but while driving the EGR indicator never comes on in the Whats Up display, and moving the throttle to 5% tps while parked the EGR valve won't open. Tested in closed and open loop.

I need to pass smog, how can I get my EGR working?

Need to set an option bit:

Option word 4 - Bit 7 - EGR

Most likely that will do it. Otherwise I'd check the wiring, solenoid and vacuum lines.

Thanks. Do you know what the stock park/drive idle speeds are for a 305 TBI?

Looks like 525 RPM in drive and 537 RPM in park/neutral. This is at operating temperature. From AXKS a cali 700r4 bin.
