Re: Ramjet Spark tables

With the RamJet running Vortec heads the Vortec truck SA values are a decent starting point.

s_aujpv4 spark tables

..and here are the spark tables I've been using on my ramjet....I'm curious as to what s_aujp does about timing when above 5600 rpm?

On my Ramjet 350 the initial timing was 10 degrees.
When using s_aujpv4 I've been using 6 degrees.

It's running quite well right now; but I don't know enough to mess with the timing tables. I'm just slowly tweaking my VE tables to get BLMs closer to 128.

and here's the lower rpm spark table....

Just got it from contact....I believe he'd sent it to me before and I'd lost it. I had previously asked about VE tables, but I guess the MEFI uses something called BPW....

And I have a question now:
If I wanted to compare my present s_aujp v4 spark tables to match these ramjet values; do I just add 6 degrees at each ramjet spark table point to compare that point with the same spot on the ramjet spark table (and add 10 degrees to the ramjet spark tables) at the same point?
Geez, I hope that made sense...
