Hi, everyone

I have just replaced my #22 Multecs with a set of FMS #24's I have just completed a data log of various rpm's and have noted that my BLM's are way out to lunch over a very narrow range. The 24's made the BLM's shoot down to 108 so for a quick fix i adjusted the "Injector flow rate " all the way up to 28 to compensate for the rich condition. After making this change my idle BLM's are perfect 128/128 and remain very close to this over most of the rpm range, i do however have a "rich" area that starts at aprox 2500 and will shoot down to the 110-108 range untill 3500 or so then it will jump back to the 128-134 range for the rest of the way up the tach. So my question is

1. Is checking the BLM's ( with car in park and in CL in the driveway the best way to obtain true Numbers? Or should i be driving under various loads to get this info?

2. Was adjusting the "Injector Flow Rate " the proper thing to do?
BTW i was very close to 128/128 before the swap with the #22's

Thanks for any input into this problem, oh the ecm is a 730 with SD and i use TPRT thanks GTA.

Here is another "Injector specific" table that adds time to improve fueling at idle.
"Low Inj Pulse Width Offset vs Base Pulse Width" or "Inj Offset for Small PW's vs Base PW"

Location

Notice that it starts to add more, pulse width time (.015 ms), at the IBPW of 2.197 ms and just keeps increasing added time till, it is at very small .488 ms (below set min IBPW).

Pandin,

I am running 8D the calibration # for the Ev1 injectors are very different than what i currently have in there, I am using TP/RT and wanted to be sure that the correct table that i should put these # in is "Injector pulse width correction vrs batt voltage". thanks

Sorry that didn't work.

Here is how the "new" Injector Pulse Width Correction vs Battery volts table was installed in the table .

I use the MS calculator to switch from Dec to Hex and back. Then add a copy of the table I am looking at, with out the "conversion math". This gives you both sets of numbers, change which ever is easier to read.

Tuner Pro RT displays in Dec or Hex but the "Bin difference checker" is in Hex. The "conversion math" is applied to the Decimal value.

The Decimal works for the upper, mean, and lower O2 swing points also. Each of these tables are 10 numbers apart in dec.

Just to give the difference in cars and setups, To get anywhere near 128 at the midrange, my injector constant is set to 22#. This is with 24# injectors and 50# of fuel pressure, set at 24# and up is way lean. I guess mine just has to be different, way rich at idle, okay at cruise, way lean at wot.

I changed the Battery volts to the lower values to help the way rich idle, and stop the flooding at cold start/low battery. The min IBPW and Default PW are set lower to the 24# 1.05 ms from the 22# 1.59 ms.
