Raising Idle While In Drive?

I'm having some problems with a 92 L98 Camaro stalling out sometimes because the idle gets to low. Is there any way to tune a chip with Tuner Pro; so I can raise the idle in drive? If so could you explain it to me, as I have no experience with this stuff.

Re: Raising Idle While In Drive?

Idle speed may fix the stalling but not fix the issue. What I mean is that you probably have something else that is wrong that is causing the stall. Start by checking for codes.

No trouble codes. We cleaned the throttle body, IAC motor(they were filthy), set the timing to 8 degrees(was originally at 15), and that fixed the problem for a month. New fuel filter, oil, and plugs. No obvious vacuum leaks, I'm thinking it could be an injector since the car seems to be down on power from 10-30mph.

The car seems to just stall out when you add stress to the motor(when warm); like turning the wheels or using the power windows. So I wanted to just program a chip for the mean time.

Re: Raising Idle While In Drive?

Can anyone tell me what to adjust to raise the idle speed while in gear? Is it the Idle RPM vs Coolant Temperature table?
