questions about SAUJPV4 fan logic

is there any logic between fan 1 and fan 2? do the settings have to be fan 1 off at 97.3 fan 2 on at 97.4?

Im running a taurus 2 speed fan so one lead needs to be turned off when the other is on (i would assume)

I set fan one to turn on @ 97.3 and off@ 94.3 and fan 2 on@ 98.8 off@ 97.4 with a 0 delay between both (any one see any problems)

also I assume the run after key off does not care about temp the ecm sees? is that true?

or will the temp over ride which fan has key off timeout run?

did you just wire the ecm outputs through relays that cancel one another out

I went through some docs to find the ecm outputs for my 727 ecm and decided I would feed the common of the fan 1 relay through the NC of the fan 2 relay so if fan 2 switched on it would drop the common dropping fan one

what are the values you have for key off run time and how your fans act

I guess im wondering how the fans react if fan 2 is on and you shut the key off but have "fan 2 run after key off set to 0" or vice versa

but mainly if fan 2 is on and the key off value is set for 60 sec, you turn the key off and the temp lowers to fan 1 temp range, does fan one come on?

Or is it just as simple as "IF either fan is set to run after the key is off, AND that fan is on, That fan will run for X time reguardless of temp"

On the 7730, I had to insert a wire into the harness for fan 2. But yeah, I just have two relays with one ECM wire for each.

Not sure about all this other stuff. The fans simply shut off when I shut the car off.
