s aujp v4

I have put together a s aujp bin for my 92 v6 camaro that is currently using an A1 mask. First there is some things that I don't know what they stand for they are CARS and CCP. I also have an idle problem it wants to idle in open loop at 2700 rpms and at 1500 in closed loop. I have it set at 900 but not sure if its in the right place or not. In my log it looks like I have 3 different rmp gauges which the middle one is reading for me. Is there a page that tells all about s aujp. Also what does all the blm cell # means I show 3,4,5,6,7,10,11,15 i'm assuming its if i'm in ae/de/ cruise. Here's a log that I got from it.

Re: s aujp v4

Did you re-pin the ECM harness connectors to match the $8D mask?

CCP: charcoal cannister purge
CARS: computer aided ratio selection (skip shift)

Re: s aujp v4

From what I can see where mine is a 92 7730 sd it has the same pinout. They both have the ccp at pin f7 but the cars I couldn't find the pin for it on mine or on the 91 350 z28 pinouts Do you know what pin it should be at. Also I have a 5-speed and I have cars and ccp disabled in my bin. Actually I live in a non-emission area so if I don't need it I can disable it, like I did on my air and egr.I also ran ccp, air, and egr disabled in my other mask bins. I tried to upload my log again but it still won't open.

Re: s aujp v4

I've got it to idle right today. But i'm showing codes 43(esc error) and 41(cyclinder select). Don't know what ecs stands for and i've tried (v6)192 with the cyclinder select of 08 and (v8)0 with yclinder select of 0 and both kept the error. In the new dataword patch area I also have BOMBED beside non-vol memory bombed, is this correct?

Re: s aujp v4

Cylinder select should be at $C0 for the V6 value according to all of the hac data I have. That $C0 (as the hac states) equates to 192 in decimal and could be the problem there. If you have a stock V6 bin you could confirm the correct value .

The ESC "Electronic Spark control" error 43 could be from the knock Sensor not connected or is an incorrect resistance.
I don't know what the V6 resistance should be so you may want to investigate that.
it could also be related to the cyl select issue, I'm not sure.
HTH.

Edit: First I saw 196 = C0, and edited my response.
Also, invert the "bombed" thing. i never got a good explaination of which way that thing should be.

It should be in the "DOCS" folder when you unzipped it.
there is also a secondary document explaing how to use additional inputs on the 7730.

Thanks, got my esc and cyclinder select going. I noticed it raised my idle up to 1700 but didn't have time to work on that right now. Will get back to it around monday.

Re: s aujp v4

ok, right now I have my blm locked at 128 and have my int running in the low 120's, using the original ve table. I entered all my values in the extended ve table ,and checked it in the flag/switches, and my int's wants to run very lean in the 150-170 range. Is there something else I need to do to run the extended table?

The reason I mentioned it is because you have to have the offset set differently for DIS and distributors.

If you set the bit to use it, Nope, should be good to go (and tune)

Re: s aujp v4

Thats what I thought. I guess i'll have to start over with the ve table because when I turn it on it goes way lean for some reason. I went back and compared the 92 5.7 and 92 3.1 ecm pin outs this morning again and they are the same except a couple being a different color. But it only took a couple hours to get the original ve in the ballpark so it shouldn't be a big deal to do the same with the extended table.

Re: s aujp v4

Well I thought I may have had it fixed, I seen the data tracing only worked at 1600 on the extended ve table but worked correctly on the original table. I done a search on here and seen the xdf settings and only the map was set on "Y" maybe "X" but the rpm wasn't set. Now the tracing is working right. But I still have the problem of it running off lean when I try to use the extended table, i'm talking up to 170 where i'm at 120's using the original table. I downloaded the bin, xdf, ads from moates, it was the 41026A bin. I'm wondering if something else could be set up wrong. If someone has a known good working bin, xdf, ads I could try I would be greatly appreciated. Or if you know whats causing my problem. Just downloaded 41024 and it had two extended ve tables one from RBob and one from Z69. The one from Z69 didn't have "Y" set with the rpm's in it also.

Re: s aujp v4

Why go backwards?
Use the 1026 version.
2 things,
There was a address error on the Extended VE table.
Be sure to fix it

Going from memory here...
There has been discussion on which MAP value to use when the data tracing is set up.
There is a 10Kpa offset when used with the VE tables within the code itself.
The MAP value that is used as data is not the same one used for the table.
You could be viewing one cell off so when you make edits they are in the incorrect cell. This is just how the code works.

Re: s aujp v4

I only downloaded the 41024 just to compare the xdf's. I found the thread about the new address " http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/di...ror+ve+address (S_AUJP V4 1024 vs 1026?) " but when I set the extened ve table address to 09A0 and tried it it cut out and the blm's didn't change when in C/L, maybe limp mode. Any thought's.
