| tuning with higher compression engine
| i am swapping in a 350 +.040 with flat top pistons (will be roughly 10:1 compression) it has an LT1 cam and roller rockers the rest is stock. now i am pretty sure the LT1 cam is ok with the stock tune but will the higher than stock compression mess with the stock tune? i dont think it will but i want to be sure. this motor is going in this weekend (if all goes well) but i will have to wait if i have to tune it for it to run correctly. i know tuning will net more power but for now reliability is what im after. | | |
