Winaldl Timing Data Logging?

I'm new to Winaldl. Is the timing logged in the Winaldl data logging somewhere? Am I missing somthing? I'm trying to verify with Winaldl that the 7747 ECM I am working with is advancing / retarding the timing to the corresponding Kpa / RPM cell. I'm more familiar with DataMaster data logging software which shows / logs what the spark advance is to the corresponding Kpa / RPM cell.

thanks,
dave w

Re: Winaldl Timing Data Logging?

The spark timing data isn't in the data stream. To see how to add it check the Come in For a Free Tune thread on the TBI board.

Re: Winaldl Timing Data Logging?

Thanks RBob,
That thread is over 8 pages...might take me a several minutes to plow through it all.

I have burned chips using my Moates.net Burn2 and Tuner Cats software.

The vehicle I'm working with is a very stock 1987 GMC 1 Ton 454. I have recently replaced the 454 with a long block "parts store quality" OEM spec 454. The smog pump and EGR are not needed now that the pickup is for off-road use only. I edited the ACLX .bin to turn on the EGR at 255 mph then turn off the EGR at 254 mph. I also edited the EGR SES flag. I did not see any tables that would affect / edit the smog pump?

I installed an Edelbrock TBI intake manifold. The engine is running, but I'm getting a back fires in the throttle body. I've got a compresensive list of things to check...but I would find the spark timing data interesting.

The What's Up Display software / hardware might be option in the future.
