Strange happenings today, need some advice

I've been running ARAP in my 86 corvette 383 tpi setup. I decided to go with this as it was a better starting point then where I was at. I was running it for about 3 weeks, and the car liked it idle, off idle and crusing around. Only at WOT was there a little rich problem. Nothing I couldn't take care of, hopefully!

Today was a nice day, and I was going to get some scans it. First time I would have scanned it with ARAP. I backed out of the garage, and let it warm up. I connected my LM-1 and made sure that was reading okay, and it was. I then got the laptop out. Shut the car down, got datamaster running on the laptop, turned the key run, connected data master.

Everything was normal, start the car and go to take it out of the drive way, and the car was running rough, really rough. Well okay, lets take it down the road, same thing. So I pull over, shut the car down, unplug the ALDL connector, thinking maybe it is that. Start the car back up, and no change. So I take it a little further down the road, and decide to unplug the auxilliary inputs to the LM-1. I also log the TPS voltage, MAF voltage, and offcourse RPM from my MSD 6AL. No SES light by the way.

Get everything unplugged from the car, and no change. The car is running very rich. So my first thought was to burn another tune. Take the IC out of the moates, and erase and reprogram. Put it in the car nothing. Get another IC, erase and reporgram nothing. All of this is from the same file I had been running for 3 weeks or better.

So then I am thinking is it coincidence, what the heck happened here. Did the AFPR go south. Check that, and it is stone 40 psi.

Well guys, I have no idea what to do here. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Craig

Re: Strange happenings today, need some advice

I guess what I am asking is, was it strictly coincidence that I connect all my diagnostic software and the car runs differently now? Or is it something I did?
