High Fuel Pressure

I have an Accel AFPR with the adjustment screw turned completely out yet my pressure is at 50psi with vac disconnected and 43psi connected. Any ideas as to why? I believe it should be at 36psi.

Re: High Fuel Pressure

Probably a bad. or weak pressure spring in the regulator, or insufficient vacuum.

Re: High Fuel Pressure

I beg to differ 7# is about right for the vacuum change, and the more you screw in the bolt the more spring and fuel pressure. The spring is too long/too strong with bolt backed out.

I would check that the bolt is fully retracting and then shorten the spring by an amount less then the extended bolt (all the way in).
