Anyone hooked up to SnapOn MODIS

Anyone had a problem hooking up to a MODIS with a tpi motor? 7730 ecm

Friend tried to hook one up tonight. Won't communicate with computer. Were you having the same problem?

i've used our Modis on my car before and didn't have any problems pulling codes or getting data.

A guy on here, mtwlkn122, had the same problem on his 91. We first tried moving the data wire (orange) from pin E in the ALDL to pin M, where mine is. That didn't help. What worked was replacing the ECM, leaving the orange data wire where it was. If necessary, I can post up a "No Scantool Data" flowchart.

:edit: My 302 system (I know, not the same, but similar data) worked just fine on the MODIS and the SOLUS.
