I always get a "PROM I/O Succeed" message, but the .bin file just doesn't seem right. For example, the main spark table has the value -57.66 in every cell???
Your trying to burn a stock chip? Is that possible?

I agree with you, BUT if there is a problem that I don't know about, just getting a .din file is only a band aid. It solves the immediate problem, but not the underlying issue as to why the .din file I am generating is garbage...
Can you read an aftermarket EEPROM or does the same thing happen?

Ok...Downloaded .bin loads onto chip just fine. I am able to read it just fine, and TunerPro displays plausible data...
So, I could just grab a .bin and forget this ever happened. It is annoying though.
I am not going to pull my hair out over it and just grab the .bin. Is there a link to find a list of BCC's, and their applications? I didn't see the AKMH .bin on Moate's site. I need one for a 4.3L automatic.
What size is the file that you are saving? It shojld be 4K, I bet it's larger.
You will need to set the start address(es) to read just at the beginning of the data.
I don't have a Burn1 or 2, but if it's loike what I have used you should be able to read the EPROM, and see what address the data starts at, in the buffer, and then use that address to start the read from. I've done it another way, but don't recall what it was now.

I seem to have worked out the issue. The Buffer End was set to 0000. When set to 0FFF like the chip end, the proper 4096 bytes went to buffer and saved appropriately...
As far as I know there is no list of what code goes to what engine, if someone has one that would have been amazing back when I needed a stock one.
