I just wired everything in as the tech article specified for the ecm swap from '870 to '165. I must have done somthing wrong because the MAF Burn-off relay is constantly humming when the battery is connected.
It is not surprissing that the car runs like crap. Where should I start? It seems that the relay is reciving voltage all the time when it shouldn't

As a follow up the Maf burnoff relay was removed and reinserted trouble cleared, no humming.
I would suspect dirty contacts that were "cleaned" by removing and reinstalling the relay. The humming was probably due to low coil voltage, not fully pulling in the relay armature.
I'm troubleshooting an unrelated issue on my 7730 conversion and I ran across the MAF burnoff relay, long since unplugged for the same reason and forgotten. Once I figured out what the relay was I remembered.
