BJYM.bin, 0D, Converter not locking

In a 1994 Chevy truck, BJYM base bin, 0D xdf, using Tunerpro RT. By the TPS vs MPH tables for converter lock it should be locking but it isn't. It locks up with the stock tune in, but I don't know what .bin the stock tune is in a 1994 Chevy truck with TBI. What would the stock .bin be? Am I maybe using the wrong .bin for that year truck? What am I missing that won't let the converter lock up?

Re: BJYM.bin, 0D, Converter not locking

i believe BJYM is for a federal 1995 truck - and i believe that the 95 has the PWM TCC, whereas your 94 truck likely has a non-PWM TCC. That is likely the source of the problem, i think.

I don't know enough yet about $0D to comment on how to make a non-PWM bin work in PWM or vice versa - but they both are $0D mask and the comparison between the two seems to imply it should be possible, i believe there was only a few single bit differences to switch from PWM to non-PWM ...

sorry i can' tbe more helpful, but this should at least get the ball rolling!!

Re: BJYM.bin, 0D, Converter not locking

You are correct. I downloaded a BJLH.bin and made my fueling and timing tweaks and such to it and put it in. Still a little rich on cold startup but the trans and TCC functions are spot on now. Thanks for the reply!
