Re: ostrich help

Well being that an ostrich is a flightless bird of course it doesn't make any power. Try an eagle or a falcon.. I got a 2.8 pigeon and it does the job...

Re: ostrich help

When you say "load the stock bin", do you mean you open it in the program, or actually upload it to the Ostrich?

If you are using Tuner Pro RT (you didn't specify the program), you need to "initialize the hardware" (should do this automatically at program start, or click on the what looks like computer cable icon in the tool bar), once it shows Ostrich 2.0 connected in a low left hand box, click on the "up" arrow also in the tool bar, this will upload the bin to the Ostrich.

Check for proper CEL operation at start up. Should flash on, off, back on again, until the car starts. If it just turns on with th ekey and never shuts off, you're in Limp Home Mode.

Check that the EMU cable is properly oriented. If you are using a '7730/'7749/'7727 style ECM, then the red line should be towards the end of the MEMCAL adaptor. If you are using a '7747 style ECM, the red line should be towards the CAL PAK, and you will also need a Socket Booster 1.0 for this application.
