What drivers are you using? The ones XP automatically installs or did you download htem off Moates? The ones on Moates work. The ones XP Autoinstalls don't work on some machines. Try the moates drivers. Also just double check your Autoprom switches. I have put mine in ALDL passthru before and couldn't get TP to see it until I flipped the switch back to Autoprom mode.

Re: my tunerpro can't find my autoprom

These newer operating systems like to try and do everything for and can work against you at the same time.
The easiest way I find to make it work is to :
  • Plug in the AP to the USB port (ding)
  • Go to device manager and see what port it is connected to.
  • Open properties and change the port configuration "latency" to 1
  • save and exit.
  • Then go to TP and set the preferences to the same port
  • Set "Disable checksum by uploading "AA" to 0x ** during emulation if you will be emulating. IDK what setup you have for the correct address there.
should be able to connect at that point.
Setting the port speed to 115K has helped me on some laptops, not sure what the max speed it can handle but it will work there and then you can increase to see if it will go faster.
