These newer operating systems like to try and do everything for and can work against you at the same time.
The easiest way I find to make it work is to :
- Plug in the AP to the USB port (ding)
- Go to device manager and see what port it is connected to.
- Open properties and change the port configuration "latency" to 1
- save and exit.
- Then go to TP and set the preferences to the same port
- Set "Disable checksum by uploading "AA" to 0x ** during emulation if you will be emulating. IDK what setup you have for the correct address there.
should be able to connect at that point.
Setting the port speed to 115K has helped me on some laptops, not sure what the max speed it can handle but it will work there and then you can increase to see if it will go faster.
