hey guys, thanks for answering in advance. i'm confused as to which route to take. do i go with the Ebl setup or do i go with megasqurit. I dont have an F body anylonger which is sad, but life dictated a Chevy truck. by the way if your a newbie at FSC you get no responce to any questions. Thans again guys.

Re: what to do

If those are the only two choices, EBL for sure.

I prefer the GM ECM, even the "archaic" to some '7747 over the MS, anyday. Mostly due to the vehicle speed defined parameters that the GM ECMs have, that I have not seen in any MS offering.

Also add the fact that I keep reading about failed attemots at getting MS running or just random failures, without a limp home mode, still puts the Delco EMS above the MS in my books.

Re: what to do

i believe ebl is head and shoulders above MS.

and much cheaper to get up and running to. MS always seems to cost more than you think when you start.

load an .xdf and .ads file for the same type of .bin. like say your runing $8D. both have to be for that or you will get that pop up.

as long as the xdf matches the .bin then you can edit the bin even thou the .ads doesn't match. the .ads is only for logging data from the car.

Re: what to do

Edit the XDF header information and point to the ADS file you are using.
The error goes away once the reletive path to the file is re-established.
