When you ship electronics, they should be well protected, as in, static foam(or any foam, I suppose) on the pins to protect them from being bent and broken, and should be put in a static bag, then placed in a decent package, whether bubble envelope or box and bubble wrap.
static discharge is a killer to IC's, so the anti-static stuff goes a long way. Xray type scanners shouldn't mess with too much, otherwise, noones' laptops would ever work after going through an airport. |
