Cylinder volume

What does changing the cyclinder volume in 8D do? Does this directly affect any calculations as far a injector pulse width, volumetric efficency or spark advance. I dont remeber reading it on the stickies above. I took a quick look again but couldn't find an answer.

The cylinder volume and injector flow rate are both used to calculate the injector PW. So they are important to set correctly.
