IIRC, the latest firmware for Craig's products are available on his site: www.moates.net.

I would look around there first.

I have looked all over www.moates.net and the only page that says anything about firmware is this http://www.moates.net/documentation....entation_id=22
and on Apu1 and under version it says N/A. But I saw that some of the people here including you have version 2.17A. I have an older firmware than that so there must be an upgrade. Maby my problems wont go away but at least its up to date. I also saw that you had simular problems that I have that it wont verify until I turn on the ignition. Have you figure out why it doesnt verify when its only connected to usb? I have mailed Craig about the firmware but I have not got any answer yet. So I figured that some1 here could have the firmware.

I am not an AutoProm user so it was probably some one else that was having the same issue.

Noticed that on the link you posted a firmware upgrade isn't available. Not sure why. Is there a users forum for Craig's products. Might be some info there.

RBob.
