Re: Accelerator enrichment VS: Differential Map

One is based on the delta MAP, the other on the delta TPS. The percentages indicate the change in MAP or TPS, ie from 10% to 50% would = 40%. Same for TPS% change.

Re: Accelerator enrichment VS: Differential Map

This is a good thread from the tuning guide to help understand how to work with AE.
http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/di...ps-vs-map.html (AE tps vs map how to discern?)

There are several others under the different ECM types also that have good info specifically to MAF or SD usage.

I have that same book, along with a couple others, I'll pull them out and post up the titles here.

Re: Accelerator enrichment VS: Differential Map

Grumpy once said to invoke AE-MAP without invoke of AE-TPS? Find a steep incline and approach it with steady throttle(no change in TPS%) And it may invoke the AE-MAP only and not the AE-TPS. Hope I have that correct !
