Which ESC for 86 tpi w\350

Which ESC should I use for an '86 iroc with a 350. It originally had a 305 tpi in it. I know that I have to change it. Right now I just have the knock sensor disconnected because it retards my timing a "bunch".
Should I just use one from an '86 corvette with 5.7/tpi ?
thank you
BTW it is a flat-tappet hyd. lifter engine if that matters

HKR is the latest knock filter for the 350s. If you do the junkyard crawl a full size '90 Chevy van VIN K will have one. Under the drivers seat. Other years of that era will also have one.

Note that you may have tightened the knock sensor too much. Torque spec is 11 - 12 ft/lb. Basically hand tight.

Now I used to have a 406 in this car with the same knock sensor and ESC and it worked fine.
HKR is the ESC module (knock filter) that you speak of.
BTW thanks for the info Rbob. Your knowledge of camaro's is vast.
